COVID-19 Update

Dear Academy Theatre Family,

In light of the revised guidelines implemented by the CDC and our commitment to the health and safety of our patrons, sponsors, artists, and volunteers, the Academy Theatre, IMPACT Theatre Atlanta, Lynna Schmidt Productions and Laughing Matters are postponing the remainder of our season until the COVID-19 health crisis has passed.  The plays that will need to be rescheduled are The Roommate, Nunsense, and Tapas V.   As soon as we know more about when we can safely resume our programming, we will let you know.  It is our intent to honor any tickets that you have purchased for any of the shows above making them transferrable to any future Academy Theatre show.

Since we are not sure how long we will be closed, we are sincerely concerned about how we will pay our bills without ticket sales.  If you are able to donate to us during this emergency, we would be exceedingly grateful. Any size donation would be extremely helpful and is tax deductible.  Please click on the Donation button below.

Please know that our thoughts are with you and yours as we all go through this challenging time.  We look forward to the day when we can welcome you back to the theatre and we can all share the joy of live theatre again.

Very Sincerely,

Academy Theatre, IMPACT Theatre Atlanta, Lynna Schmidt Productions and Laughing Matters
