Butterfly Ballad by Piccadilly Puppets

Developed for the opening of the Callaway Gardens Butterfly Center, BUTTERFLY BALLAD traces the metamorphosis of Katy and Kevin Caterpillar from egg to caterpillar, chrysalis, and butterfly. Join them on their fascinating migration to Mexico and marvel as they return to the United States to lay their eggs, beginning the life cycle all over again.

Since 1970 The Piccadilly Puppets Company has entertained and educated children all over Georgia and sometimes beyond! Each year they perform for thousands of children in all sorts of venues, from schools and libraries to birthday parties and festivals. Written by Carol Daniel and Pamela Shook, Butterfly Ballad was developed for the opening of the Callaway Gardens Butterfly Center. Piccadilly Puppets has been been awarded the UNIMA Citation of Excellence from the leading international puppetry organization.

This show is being presented for free in Jess Lucas Park thanks to the generous support of the City of Hapeville.
